Tapered Washer (Beveled Washer) is a square-shaped washer with one inclined surface. It is used to allow proper tightening of bolts on sloped surfaces such as I-beams and channel steel (U-shaped steel).
It is available in common inclination angles such as 5°, 8°, and 13°, selected depending on the application.
