# Rings / Pins

# OTHER

A spring pin is a hollow pin component made by coiling a thin sheet of spring steel into a cylindrical shape. When pressed into a hole, it generates elastic force to prevent loosening and provide positioning.

The type with a straight joint gap is called the straight type.

Compared to solid pins, this type is lighter and is widely used for simple fastening, anti-rotation, and anti-loosening applications.

It is also known as a roll pin.
