(+) Oval Head Screw (Oval Head)

Oval Head Screw (丸皿小ねじ) has a slightly rounded top surface based on the flat countersunk head shape of Flat Head Screw (皿小ねじ).

After installation, this type of screw does not sit completely flush with the mounting surface like a Flat Head Screw (皿小ねじ), but its protrusion is lower than that of a Pan Head Screw (なべ小ねじ).

The length of an Oval Head Screw is measured from the bearing surface under the head to the tip of the threaded portion.
