Hex Socket Set Screw is a headless screw with a fully threaded body of uniform diameter and an internal hex socket drive for tightening with an Allen key.
It is also commonly referred to as a grub screw, hollow set, or HS. This type of screw is designed to press its threaded end against the surface of a component, primarily for positioning, locking, or securing mechanical parts.
The Flat Point (平先) type features a 45° chamfer at the tip with a flat contact surface, providing more stable and even contact when tightened.
