This is a type of nut with two wings (butterfly-shaped tabs) on both sides, allowing it to be tightened or loosened by hand without tools.

The product is manufactured using the cold forging process.

Applicable standards:

  • JIS B 1185 Type 1, DIN 315, GB 62.1: rounded wing design
  • JIS B 1185 Type 2 (Type R), DIN 314, GB 62.2: angular wing design
